Trailer shocks

I have equa flex equalizers on my trailer springs that seem to do a good job smoothing normal road irregularities. But very large bumps cause a huge secondary jerk of the truck. I'm trying to determine if adding shocks would reduce that hit or if it would be a waste of time and money to add shocks.

That is called "chucking", and is pretty normal for most 5th wheel towing. Our TrailAir kingpin boxes help with that somewhat... and I've found my best results are when I keep the bag filled between 65-80 psi.

Some people get either air bags or helper springs for their tow vehicles... but I've not found that necessary towing my 3200.

I use the TrailAir hitch with 80psi in the bags towing my V3600. Im very impressed with it and has almost completely eliminated the "chucking" in my opinion.
