New Porch Lights

Installed black motion detector/On-Off Porch lights, could not stand the little white ovals dutchmen put over the doors.
Hardest part of the installation was cleaning up the goop behind the lights. DW complained about time being spent on camper mods.....I have the tail lights but will have to wait until the honey dues are done!

That is one way to get er done. I picked this up at MENARDS. STUCK IT TO THE SIDE WITH COMMAND STICKY. It is motion detecting PLUS solar to boot. No wires or anything to mess with. Easy breezy to install.

You don't remove the old light. You add the solar light to the side like a porch light on your stick and brick.

It would be nice if when adding ideas/mods with necessary parts (ie the porch lights by the OP and Goldenyears), that you include a link to where you purchased it.

I'm only making a suggestion..............

OK, guess I am slow this morning. Cold, lazy mornings do that to me. Could you post up a pic of what you did? and perhaps a Menards stock number? There are no Menards around here (unless you want to count a 2.5 hour drive to Cheyenne), but my sister has one close by and could pick it up for me.

Usually posting by phone, so all the features e.g. hyperlink does not work, yes I do need a new phone, but too busy working and doing mods on all the toys.

Ok, finally at home on the big computer, looked at the Cooper Lighting 8" 2-LED 100° Solar Motion Activated Wedge Light, this is a home/shed light, would not get solar power charged without awnings retracted, would put on a mobile home but not a camper!

Even though our light I is on the north side of our rig and the awning is out it still receives enough light to keep it charged. Remember it is motion activated does not use much Juice. The Velcro mount I devised makes it easy to remove for going down the road. There is also a charge port on the side to keep ithe charge up..
