Smile New generator day

After months of research and waffling back and forth, I finally pulled the trigger on 2 Champion 2000w generators. It didn't hurt that Home Depot has them on sale for $399. It took many hours and phone calls to find the stackable parallel kit, but it was worth the effort. For now only Bass Pro Shop/Cabelas in the U.S. has them.

I have to say, these seem to be as advertised, both started on the first pull, and are whisper quiet in ECO mode. I've got about 3 hours on them trying to get them through the 5 hour break in period. I also have the Micro-Air easy start on the way. Now all I have to do is try and find a place to boondock in this state

Yes, two small gennies sitting on a "box" that is the parallel kit, the wires are stowed in the back, just fire them up and plug your 30amp RV cord in. One from the front...

That’s a heck of a deal for $800 plus tax. I bought the Predator 3500 a couple of years ago from Harbor Freight. It was a great Generator(and quiet) for the time I had it, sold it when we got our toy hauler with on board generator. If I had it to do all over again, definitely would have preferred 2 2000 Generators vs the bigger 3500, it was a pain to haul around

Champion makes some decent gennies. Have the 3x00 whatever it is and it will power everything except the water heater on my Coleman while remaining quiet. It only weighs 85 pounds with a full tank of fuel and is easy to roll around with the handle and wheels and stores well in my pickup bed.

I have considered making an extended run kit for mine, and have all the parts wish listed on Amazon, but have yet found a need for it as I have cancelled my plans for a 3 night camping at the annual fly in in Iowa. Now I just carry it along in case it is ever needed.

They certainly will after I install my micro-air easy start.
