High Pressure Propane quick disconnect
Please forgive me if this has been covered, but I have searched and searched and have not found any articles covering exactly what I am looking to do. Some similiar, but not the same. Surely someone has had this idea or accomplished this before I would think.
I have several propane appliances I want to run off of a quick disconnect. I know the factory installed quick disconnect is low pressure and would involve removing the regulators on my appliances. I want to run things such as a double burner set, propane campfire, propane grill, etc.... I also dont have any reason to buy any grills specifically for an RV or anything dedicated to low pressure.
My thoughts are to install a T at one of the tanks before the campers double regulator and run a propane hose to the back of the trailer with a high pressure disconnect. This line would be straight from the tank and unregulated as all of the appliances have thier own regulators. This way all of the appliances can be fueled at one location and I dont have to carry around a tank.
Is this safe? I know its possible, but is it wise? I have been looking at hoses and parts, most hoses are rated at 350 psi. I am concerned because on most grills and burners have the regulator that screws right to the tank, lowering the pressure before it travels through the hose.
