Blocks vs Flip Jack?

Has anyone purchased and used the Flip Jack? I screwed together some 2" x 8" and put handles on them to put under the Tongue Jack. But recently saw the Flip Jack (see the FastwayTrailer.com website. Available on Amazon for around $38.

Has anyone used one of these? Are they worth it?

Thanks!

I've seen the display and played with it, seemed to work as advertised. There's a couple of folks that have them and reported they were happy with them.

I have an extended foot that I salvaged off an old sidewinder to reduce the jack travel, but I still use blocks under it as well. I find blocking takes most of the wiggle factor out of the tongue jack.

I purchased one about a month ago - installed easily & works as advertised. I painted mine black though to blend in with the trailer instead of the bright red that it comes in.

Happy with it so far!

I know this is an old thread and I apologize ... but I just picked up my new trailer last yesterday!

Flipjack vs the extender cones that are available?

Opinions?

Fast way flip

FastwayFlip Jack works excellent. Just make shure you follow the instructions when drilling. I thought doing it in the shop would be easier, and I did not get it 100% correct.

Do you have to block the wheels to use it? Reason I ask that my indoor storage place puts the trailers away with a fork lift and does not block the wheels. So want to make sure it will not rotate by it self. From the pictures can't tell if it kind if locks in place when down.

No it will not rotate with pressure on the foot. You would have to look at one to know why. Very unique but simple design.
