A solution for those hoses and cables

Today I was organizing my basement in the Kodiak 242RESL. I first mounted a piece of hardwood to the top of the panelling. Then I mounted these Wall-Mount Storage Straps & Brackets - Lee Valley Tools to the hardwood. I now have a great place to hang my garden hose and extension cables. The best thing is that I can change what I am hanging without making huge changes to the strap. Will try and post some pictures when it quits raining.

As promised here are the pictures of the straps and connectors I used to tie up my hoses and electrical cords. You'll see in the first photo that I have not attached the connector or strap and I've done this on purpose as I use the screw to verify the height and then just use the hole to make the permanent connection. I apologize that the garden hose picture is sideways. It's raining here again today so will finish these mods when the clouds quit dropping the buckets of water.
