2002 Dutchman repair

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix the front sheet metal pulling away from the support. Both sides are doing it now. It looks like the sheet metal siding is shrinking but in reality the wood behind is the culprit. It does not look like an easy fix.

Hello Edwin... That looks UGLY and, in my experience, you will need to remove the front and completely rebuild.

Thanks for your reply Frank. I think at this point I will fill the voids up with silicone etc. Obviously it must be leaking somewhere at the top although no sign of leaks inside. This is a 2002 so I guess I got my money out of it. I have had it for 4 years and paid 5k . Again thanks.

If you are going to fill the voids, I would look at Flex Seal. They have a new one that comes in a can and can be applied with a putty knife. I would be worried that the wood is so rotted behind it that the front would completely come off. This flex seal stuff may work just to patch. EternaBond would work also (the tape).
