012 Voltage BR Cab Mod

One of the first mods I made to our Voltage was to the cabinet doors over the head of the bed. Three doors there that opened upward and Dutchmen figured they didn't need any support. If you opened them with one hand and reached in for something the door would fall down on your wrist and you couldn't see what you were reaching for, or you had to put down what was in your other hand and hold it up.

Our Travel Supreme came equipped with spring-loaded supports, guess Dutchman figured they were to expensive.

A quick trip to the local RV supply store and a couple of minutes with a drill and screwdriver and problem was solved.

I'll be doing the same thing to our Kodiak. It's a pain (no pun intended) trying to hold them with one hand and dig for something with the other...

Do you happen to have the size or part number of those support lifts?
Great job.

Darn - As I said somewhere else I'm in Florida and I have one left, in Michigan. Seems like they came two in a pack. I got them at a local non-brand related supplier.
See if you can convert the information on this link to something you can use locally.

I don't remember if it came with the attachment screws or if I had to supply my own.
