Is Turkey on the menu for Canadian Thanksgiving or is that only traditional on our side of the border? Either way, Happy Thanksgiving and to all a good night! Oops.....mixing my holidays :-)

We celebrated yesterday because family had to be back on the road today. I still feel like the turkey today - stuffed. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, peas and cranberry sauce. When my mother-in-law was still alive, her and I would always share a turnip or parsnips. To finish this fine meal would be pumpkin pie and whipped cream. To all my Canadian neighbours and our USA neighbours to the North and South wishing you all the best of what we're thankful for - let's do this again come the end of November.

We had our dinner yesterday ...today is a travel home day for us. I understand the US/Canada border crosssing were very busy heading South on Friday and will be busy North bound today.

Hope the US government will return to work soon... And get back to normal....what ever normal is.

We usually have football instead of hockey for dessert. No matter as I never can stay awake long enough to finish the game...
