Rock N' August in St. Albert. 2001 Transam WS6 6 speed and 2001 Firehawk automatic convertible. Great cars to drive.

Re: Cars

What I used to fill my weekends with. Got to be too much of a money & time committment so I bought a travel trailer - go figure. TT seems like a greater time and money committment. But at least they get to use the TT as well.

Re: Cars

Our play car (currently covered at home with battery tender attached and stabil in the tank) is a 2011 Mazda Miata hardtop convertible.
With the quickest shifting 6 speed manual extant, it's got to be the most fun you can have with only 167 HP!

Thats the one Glenn. The Frame is new from Beauford & all the Running gear is from the old Ford Cortina. Not easy to find these days..

Re: Cars

Wow Ford Cortina...haven' heard that model in a long time. I think they made a GT model as well...I do remember a Sunbeam Tiger...i think they stuffed a 260 or a 289 cubic inch into a cute little 2 seater Sunbeam.
Nice pics.
Mmmmmm I wonder if you ca get that twin turbo into your Miata Glenn??

Re: Cars

Think it was back in '69, I was in 10th grade and had to shuttle kids to school. Dad bought me a 2 door Ford Cortina. Poor little car only lasted one school season with my driving. It was a standard and the transmission went out 3 times.
