I've seen it on TV, looks like a crazy time and if I were in AK I would try to attend. I don't think they had it when I was there 94-98? my friends and I would just go camping on with ATVs and try to make it to one of the glaciers for a weekend event. Darn good times..

I will never be able to do that as my DW will not go to Alaska.

I will stay on the west coast and enjoy the warmth.

Arctic Man is a 5 mile race with skiers and snowmobiles, a town basically pops up in the middle of nowhere and its a week long party leading up to race day, apparently I was one of the few that had running water, the Voltage worked great and kept 7 people fed and warm with hot showers all week
