Where/How to vent for VENTED Combo?

My wife and I have joined to FULL TIME RV crowd in our 2015 Voltage 3970. We have figured out the 7100XC Splendide unit we have. This is a non-vented unit. My wife wants a vented unit so I am looking to sell the 7100XC for a good price and purchasing the 2100XC which is vented.

Who has vented a washer dryer in this unit? How and where did you vent it. We love doing our wash/dry in the RV. It is convenient, cheap, and once we solved the wrinkle problem, it works great. We just want to keep as much moisture out of the RV as possible.

Venting dryer

I am not sure where your dryer is. Ours is in the bedroom closet (2016 Voltage 3970). Ours is vented to the outside just above the dryer, maybe even with the dryer exhaust. We clean the vent by compressed air. (we maintain a pancake compressor capable of 150 psi and a 50 foot compressor hose in the generator compartment in front of the battery) Now to your main question. I would vent it as close to the dryer as possible, simply to make cleaning it easier. Ours was done at the dealership as we ordered and had them install the washer and dryer before we picked it up. Use the compressed air from the inside out through the screen port, so all the lint goes out. I started to do it from the outside in and one blast of air convinced me I did not want all that inside the RV.

I just installed a thru the floor vent for our 2100xc splendide in our 3605th. I used semi
rigid flexible dryer venting thru the floor to an adjustable elbow and ran it to the outside wall on the back side and mounted a regular residential vent head with screen to the bottom of the skirting. works great.
