W/D Stacked and all-in-1?

Anybody out there tried this yet? I am looking at installing both the splendid 2100 All-in-one and also having the Ariston Dryer stacked... my thinking is that I have the room, and in most cases the all-in-one could do the job, but for the extra big jobs I'd still have an extra dryer.

Can anybody provide insight to this idea? Am I just better getting the stackable? Seems the washing portion is about the same either way.

Thanks.

For an extra dryer I would go with a Wind/Solar powered unit manufactured by Homemade.

I haven't tried it, but just something to remember...

If you use the Splendide 2100, you'll need TWO dryer vents if you go with the stack.

Thanks, I figured I would just put a Y in... however I think what we will do is first try the all-in-one see how that goes and then get the dryer if unhappy. We have room but it would be nice to have just a few more sq ft. Sounds like the 2100XC from splendide does a pretty good job on its own since its vented.

But if anybody has thoughts or advice i'm all ears (or eyes in this case).

I've had the 7100 model (ventless) for the past 2 years, and it does a decent job. Only limitation is small loads... but since I travel alone, it's not an issue. I usually run a load every 3rd day or so.
