yikes! That sounds ominous! We looked at, and almost bought, the Rubicon 2900 but ended up with the Voltage 300 in March 2014. So far, we haven't had any major issues. What problems have you had?

LOL - we just picked up our TH from the dealer on Monday (6/16) our "warranty items" are 10 pages long and 53 items listed! It has taken 20 months to completed all the work! We live in UPSTATE NY where winters are very long and snowy! Our TH is stored inside (not our property) and we must have it in by the end of October and cannot normally get it out (because of the snow) until early May! But I must say over the 20 month - the Dealer had it for almost 4 months - that my friend is a lot of lost camping!

Some of the "warranty items" were simple - warped doors, torn mattress - which we would normally fixed ourselves BUT since there were MAJOR problems, we figured they can deal with them all.....some of the MAJOR problems, 2 bent axles, uneven tire wear DUH maybe because of the axles??? nail thru the fiberglass by the front door, front cap separated from the body of the camper - we had a "shower" in our bedroom & kitchen because of water leaks. The windows in the slide did not open nor lock....and the list just kept on going = just like the little energizer bunny!!!

We owned a Sunline before buying the Rubicon and had ZERO problems with it - actually we upgraded to a larger Sunline after Sunline went out of business.....our dealer (not the same one) gave us a one year tongue to bumper warranty on the unit - 'cause he knew the quality of Sunlines......

Dutchmen should be ashamed of the quality or lack of, that they allow out the door!

Unfortunately we are getting to the age where we may not be camping too much longer (75+), so trading in and getting something else is not in our future. We will live with what we have and never-ever return to the selling dealer (Ballantyne RV, Victor, NY) - we will either do the work ourselves OR find someone else to work on it.

So that is my sob story!

Smile V300 !

Hi there! Just want to say that V300 owners are like unicorns. Rare indeed!
We have had ours since Feb 2014. We have had some issues with questionable craftsmanship, but haven't felt the need to replace it. The dining situation is not great--we use a folding camp table and chairs in the garage. Ours was missing the dining table when first purchased, and neither the dealer or Dutchmen was able to get one to us. Please let me know if you have any questions.

What are the 2 white dump valves towards the front under the camper. Didnt get any books with ours but did get the table. And we put 2 stools in to use the island counter. At some point also must have had a small roof leak near the ramp door. Other than that doesnt look like it was used at all.

The 2 white valves are to empty the fresh water tanks. There are 2 50 gallon water tanks--connected together for filling, but need to be emptied separately. Near those 2 valves, there should also be a 2 lines (one red/one white) to drain the water lines when winterizing.
