Hi Everyone,
I hope this is not considered hi jacking a thread, Sorry if it is...

anyway, could someone advise who makes this awning, I'm thinking it is a carefree, but what model? where can you order parts for this awning? I need one of those end covers above where you put the bar in to turn the awning in and out.

Thanks for your help, I have a 2014 Voltage 3905, not sure if that makes any differance...
Mike

Pretty sure its going to be a Carefree of Colorado. I needed one of the leg clips that I broke off and called them to get it. I just got the phone number off of their website.

At the Tampa RV show last week, I noticed that most of the rigs there with the patio system didn't have the awning legs connected to the ramp/floor. Instead, the retainers were up on the frame above the locking-bar hinge. This appeared to not only be more convenient, but more stable since the legs weren't extended as far.

So the next day, I decided to move mine up there. Took about 10 minutes, and I think I'm going to like this much better:

Sure going to ad this to my walk around list come this Saturday. As mine has a 12/14 build date mine might look like your picture. If it isn't I'll ad that to my to-do list of mods.

PUNCH list? New term for me. Sounds like you might want to "punch" someone.

The patio awning has support legs? Guess I'll take a look at mine to see about the legs.

Now I don't feel so bad. I didn't know I had any legs on mine either. It's raining or I'd go out and check. I'll have to look soon. Maybe the rain will quit tomorrow.

I never knew mine were there until this post. I do not have the clips installed where they are to hook in. Last time I used it and there was a little wind, I stuck the legs between the railing and the cable holding up the patio. Seemed to work for now.

I think we have some pictures of the legs and even an explanation on how to get them down to use.

It seems as if the retainers were an option for install and was at the pleasure of the installer.

How can I get a part # for the clips? I emailed Voltage but wont hold my breath. I would happily buy them if I could get a part # and source.

Ok, I wasn't looking hard enough. Part # is R019283-xxx with 001 being satin, 005 white and 006 black. Found them for $43.95 plus $8.95 shipping at RV Awning Parts - Freedom Carport Foot - PN # R019283-006 . Kind of expensive but cheaper than a broken awning.

Used my patio awning for the first time this weekend,
was impressed at how sturdy it held up in winds gusting to 20 mph.

ACTguy great idea for mounting the clips on the door frame...
and thanks to Burl for tracking down the parts.

Picked up my V3605 this weekend, and out of the entire PDI, the only issue was the missing feet.

I got mine extended out and rotated down. The inner most square tube extends and locks into place with a spring loaded button, the intermediate tube will not budge. Even with some persuasion from a hammer it doesn't budge...

Also had to unscrew the end caps from the awning to get the legs out of there
