Voltage Gray Water valve access?

My gray water valve on my 2015 Voltage 3970 isn’t closing all the way. How do I get access? Under belly? Has anyone replaced this valve or can I fix it some other way? Both gray and black push/pull hard when opening and closing. I have heard some pour vegetable oil into tank to lube. I also was thinking about flushing gray water to try to dislodge anything blocking the way, but not sure how to do that effectively. Ideas apprectiated.

Most of the problems with the valves are that they use 8 or 10' of cable for a 4' run. They loop it around and then don't secure it. Valves are either Valterra or Bristol. Had mine replaced under warranty for same issue. You could buy the Valterra valve extension for around $20 or so. That would solve your leak issue. I think the only way to solve cable issue is to replace (ideally with electric, many posts here on how to do it). Good luck.

Electrical valves all the way. Had one sticking and decided to replace all 4 with electric Valterras and love them. Yes, it is a lot of work but got them all done over 2 weekends with no regrets while still living full time so it can be done.

Mine goes into the shop next week because neither valve will close.... replacing both with electric, insurance is paying for normal valve replacement but I'm paying the difference.

My Drainmaster Electric gate valves should be here tomorrow. I am mounting the switches in the wetbay. I know later I COULD wire one inside if I wanted to. Where did they wire the switches for the electric dump valves? I saw someone wired them to the light in the "wetbay" . That is the best option I have heard so far. Anyone else have an idea?

I wired all 4 of mine to the wet bay light, never had an issue in over a year.

I extended my electric valve switches to the inside of the trailer above the control panel. I needed 3x25' spools of colored wires for each switch (blue/red/white). I had an empty slot on my power box so I added a 5A or 10A fuse to the box and ran the power up to the switches. I also tied the ground wire into an existing ground behind the control panel.

I did it this way so that I would not have to go outside to activate the valves.
