Voltage 3970

Hello all! DH and I are planning on ordering a Voltage 3970 in the next few weeks. What can we expect to pay - a good price and a really good price. I have an idea, but want to check with experienced buyers to see if I am in the ball-park or out in left field. Thanks for any input!

30% off MSRP is a good price 30% - 35% off MSRP is a really good price. I tried all the voltage dealer's within a 15 hr drive to get 40% none would bite, I ended up with 34.5% off.

Grimtas and desertrat:

Thanks for the info. I'm looking at 35% off the MSRP which still gives them a couple of thousand profit unless they get a price for volume sales and then it is more profit for them. I don't know if they will go for it though. This dealership is about 40 miles from us, but there are a few a bit further that sell Voltages. Thanks again!

What were your destination charges and did it ship from Indiana? Trying to get a handle on this so we know up front what to expect in costs and if what they quote is inflated or not. Did you get charged PDI costs from your dealership?

Noelle,
My price was 34.5% off MSRP out the door. Only state taxes were added back in.

Remember out here on the west coast there is about another $1800 for delivery cost that's in that price.

Wasn't sure how they do the destination charge. That is why I asked. So I need to be aware of that when negotiating a sales price. Did your dealers charge you for the PDI? How much, if I may be so bold as to ask?

Anyone have any ideas of how much dealers get for their "show discounts" - when they order at the annual shows for dealers?

Thanks again you guys!

No Trailer Hitch RV doesn't charge for PDI.

We ordered our Voltage on April 11 and got it on June 20. Took it camping on June 24! and many more times since then. We love it. Feel we got a great deal and so far warranty work has been great at Edwards Motorsports and RVs out of Council bluffs, Iowa!
