Voltage 3200 Exterior Controls

Does anyone know how to turn of the outside audio controls on the 3200? Dumb, question but I can't figure it out. Im afraid it will drain my battery. Thanks.

We have a switch on our inside garage wall for both the outside and garage speakers. The switches are next to the door going from the garage into the main living area.

My switch is mounted above the DVD to control outside or inside speakers.

Sounds like he has a control head exterior instead of a speaker switch.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's talking about the exterior mounted controls for the audio head in the garage... which is part of the exterior entertainment package.

Mine has it... and as others have said, there is no On/Off switch for it. It's always live. I'm guessing you could pull a fuse to shut it down... but since the entire rear audio system is probably on the same circuit, you'd lose use of the whole thing.

Would it be impossible to throw a rocker switch on the control head? Not on the head itself, you know what I'm saying.

On the 3950, there is a fuse behind false wall in the bottom of the pantry. I removed it so we could have a lot more room, the fuse to the controller is located there.

Good info, Cale. Even though I am on solar and don't worry about this draining my batteries, maybe a switch is in order inside the exterior refer door for this.

I read what I typed in a half stupor last night...didn't make a lot of sense. My wife was annoyed at how little space we had at the bottom of the pantry...barely enough room for a lunch box and a jug of oil. Removed the bottom panel, lots of space back there. There is an in line fuse for the controller, I did find that the bar holding the controller firm to the exterior was loose, also found a few other goodies....extra wire and wire nuts...

Thanks everyone, haven't been on in a few days but it looks like I'm gonna put in a rocker in-line somewhere. I'm thinking on the plastic box tv support on the outside. theres plenty of room and it'll be convenient when needed. I guess they expect us to be hooked full time, LOL! I agree a switch from the factory is in order. I woulda paid the extra $2.99! Thanks again!

On our 3200 ,the exterior audio control is a accually using the 12 volt power supply that goes to the refrigerator ( I found out the hard way ) so I ran a new wire using a different source and have the garage audio working the way it should be. Audio on , blue lights on , audio off, controller off.
