I've been looking at something like this for a basis for a trailer to address the same issue of getting to the trails.

How would that work? It lifts two wheels off the ground how would you tow it?

I would use the wheel set as a basis for building a collapsible trailer. I like that it all comes apart for transport / storage and is a very substantial system to start with. I think I can add other removable parts and hitch that I can stow under the SxS when in the toy Hauler. I just need to get everything home from AZ later this spring to lay it all out. https://www.awdirect.com/steel-teles...tires/dollies/
