Tow Vehicle improvement

Well for all the consternation regarding towing abilities would like to pass what I have done to tow my new v3005

I carry about 2500lbs of cargo in my trailer so combined weight of trailer truck and occupants etc is 22,300 lbs

My truck is 2012 Dodge Ram 2500. It has Firestone air bags. The air bags initially were inflated to 60lbs but I noticed less compliance in the rear suspension. More chucking and rougher ride. Finally went to my leaf spring outfit in Reno, Nevada and the fellow there recommended a spring pack that would increase payload by about 800lbs. Well now I have had that pack on now for about 3,000 miles and what an improvement. Just completed a 1,450 mile round trip tow fully load from smith nevada (northern nevada) to borrego springs california near Palm springs. Encountered 2 8,000 ft passes substantial wind and piss poor california roads. I now tow with 20lbs or less of air pressure in the bags and the control and comfort are excellent. From borrego headed to Laughlin nevada then up hwy 95 a two lane good pavement quality, narrow and wind prone road. Again, the performance was great. Dodge ram purrs down the road, exhaust brake can't imagine towing without it.
