Top Bunk in garage

My husband and I recently purchased a 2015 Voltage 3895. We purchased it in another state and they brought it to us. Unfortunately, we did not get the official overview of the toy hauler and can't figure out how to keep the top bunk in the garage touching the ceiling while we use the bottom bunk as seating and table. Any suggestions?

The happi-jack bunk beds in the garage should have come with a pack of 4 pins that are inserted when the bunks are in the raised position. This will keep the top bunk up when lowering the bottom bunk.

hamson smanson - just an FYI - our pins where not in with anything that was given to us when we purchased our Rubicon - I did not know they were supposed to be there. We went to our local Ace Hardware and purchased 4 bolts and nuts and used them until the dealer could get them from Dutchmen and/or HappiJac - they are nothing fancy - so if you don't want to go thru the hassle of getting them - just go to Ace.

If you order them from HappiJac - if I remember correctly, they are "pricey" compared to getting them from a local hardware store - parts where $11.00 - shipping to NY 15.25!

I replaced mine from the local hardware store for around .50 cents a piece. They are not anything special.
