Tire wear

I have a 2012 voltage 3900, 7000 miles , and tire wear issues.

The rear axle right tire has outside rib wear(past the wear bars) and the left tire has inside rib wear .
The center axle looks to have even wear across both tires
The front axle has outside rib wear on both tires that is almost to the wear bars,

This wear pattern tells me that the rear axle is not perpendicular to the frame and the front axle may be bent as to camber on both wheels. .

The dealer told me he measured it and found all within spec. and that three axle trailers have tire wear issues that are considered normal.

I was in the medium and heavy truck business for 41 yrs and saw a lot of tire wear issues, This is not normal

Anyone have similar problems? Any suggestions will be appreciated

It would be nice to know what the OEM specs are and what the service guys found.

Logicly the tire wear you discribe does't indicate axles that are aligned within specs.

There have been axle recalls in the past, mainly due to problem welds. I would contact the axle manufacturer, they should be able to tell you if there is a potential problem with your alignment.

Axle could be the issue. I had to replace the rear axle on a two axle tow-behind, because the outside of the right trailing tire was wearing much faster than any of the other tires. The guys that replaced it said they measured and the axle was not within spec. Cost me a hundred bucks for deductible and the warranty covered the rest. This was after 3 years of use. Sounds odd after 3 years. I'll never know. That trailer is going away for good.
