Ah, that was the connector I was referring to in my first post last night. I have had my AC unit off a time or two, but never messed with that connector. With that being, I was very careful to tape everything tight.
Be careful putting the AC back, as there are only lag bolts holding it down. Mine were stripped, I went up one size and all has been good.

Yep. Whenever I see the E1 error, I think the data cable under the middle AC has been the fix every time. I know my time will be coming, with the halfhazard pile of spaghetti wires under there, I have made it a point not to mess with those wires whenever I've had the unit off.
