Swapping 3905 for 4150 over slide issues

Having lots of slide issues with the 3905 and contacted Voltage who offered a deal we couldn't refuse on a 2017 4150 with the cable slide system.

Are the cable slides performing better for those who have them?

What is the recommended maintenance like? I really worked to keep the other slide maintained but failed due to it being a lousy design.

Any advice from you owners appreciated!

Thank you

You called the factory and they made you a deal?
What kind of deal did you get?

Be nice to get the new ramp door. Suppose to be easy to open. You can tell the difference by the new system has no big latching system to lock. I haven't seen one in person but it sounds good.

I'm curious too. I noticed the slide on my new, but smaller, Aerolite has cables. Lots of pictures on the internet of the same model clearly show the tracks on the extended slide. I assume this is a recent change.

Regardless, the cable system certainly is less complicated and more forgiving in some aspects. But I'm not convinced it is more robust.

Long story but basically yes. Factory referred us to the area rep and he worked some magic through a local dealer.

Dropped the 3905 off yesterday and get the 4150 mid week as they are moving my inverter and other items from old to new.

I can't find how to contact Dutchman directly for a quality and safety concern. Can you share that info?
