stabilizer comparisons

Thinking about buying the Steady Fast stabilizer. Looks really innovative and easy to use. Anyone have any experience with this system?

Welcome to Steady fast

I just installed these 2 months ago and used it for the first time over Thanksgiving weekend. Definitely works. I would say gets rid of about 90% of the shaking/rocking motion. Installing took me some time. But if I had the proper tools and doing it over again, it would be about a 2-3 hour job. I would recommend them.

BAL also has this type of stabilizer. I had them on my Airstream and they are night and day better than the scissor jacks on my Dutchmen. Never had to use any fancy wheel chocks with them, just a couple of wedge chocks on each side and level it up.

I've got them at the top of the list for upgrades. I was very happy with them on the Airstream so I am going with these vs trying to get rid of the shake with x chocks or some other cure.

The BAL is more like the JT Strong arm system. I am interested in how easy the Steady Fast system is to use and that there are only three points of connection, much simpler.

Once installed, its very easy to use...... just a simple twist of the swivel clamp to loosen before you lower your jacks. Once jacks are down, you retighten the clamps so you have a strong brace. Repeat for the remaing two. Each one takes pretty however long it takes you to drop your jacks.

It is a big difference as shown on their website video. I tried it too. With it unlock, you can shake the trailer. With all of it locked, the movement is virtually gone.

Are you referring to the Steady Fast system?

I bought the JT strong arm system a couple of months ago but I haven't installed them yet. Depending on the weather, I'll probably get them on next weekend.

I just got the Steady Fast System. I like the fact that there is less moving parts as well as east to lock compared to the JT string arm.

I will post a review once this has been installed.
