Slide Locking Bars

Good afternoon Schwintek Warriors,

Heading in next week to have main slide fixed (bearing block). From the pics of one replaced recently, the bearing block was cracked, which allowed for the shoe to move out. I can only assume that would happen from the possibly "flexing" while bouncing down the road.

Thoughts on putting an adjusting slide brace centered above the slide? I know some manufacturers provided them for slides in the past, but would something like this be a good idea for our units?

Something like this: http://www.factoryrvsurplus.com/file...lock_Flier.pdf

Can you say 2x4? Does the same thing only cheaper. That's what most dealers use to move a broken slide.

I don't know how you can mount one of those on the main slides in my Voltage.
They aren't called opposing slides for nothing.

Cale,
That is the same one I just purchased. It is very easy to use.
