Simple inverter

I have a 2017 voltage 3005

Wanting to install an inverter for tv.

My old weekend warrior I would just plug into shore power, and unplug the converter.

Wondering if I plug into shore power, I am guessing I can just flip the breaker to the converter? Do I need to worry about creating a loop??

You need to make 110 volts AC for a TV from a battery or battery bank?

Do you have a 12 volt outlet near your main TV? I use a Samlex 175 watt inverter for my 40" LCD. These are good inverters and are very quiet.

If you don't have a 12 volt outlet near the main TV you can add one. My Converter is located just below my man TV. The battery cables run from the batteries to the conveter. I added a 12 volt outlet near the TV and ran it inside the entertainment center wall to the Converter and connected the wires to the battery cables. I ran 10ga wires and a 15amp fuse.

The cords go to inverter only receptacles. I move the TV plug to shore receptacle or inverter receptacle depending on what I'm doing.

I like that. By picking specific receptacles only, all you have to do is turn it on.

I just got done an inverter install. 2 Trojan 105’s to a Samlex 1500 Watts inverter. I used 00 cable to a marine breaker then to the inverter lug. Works fine and at 185 amh I should be good for a bit. Charging the batteries is next issue. I’m dealing with an ole cs2000 so I either upgrade converter or use a smart charger to the Honda eb2800i generator.
Any input?
Thanks

I installed a Power TechON 2000W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter in my battery compartment. I simply run an extension cord from my shore plugin to the inverter. I then flip the breaker off for the converter so it is shut off. At that point I can run all 12 volt off my batteries. I am using 6- 6volt batteries. I still run the fridge on LP. It is nice to be able to make coffee and watch TV or charge phones
without the generator when we are dry camping in the mountains. If you don't switch the converter off you will create a loop and kill your batteries very quickly.
