Question Satellite TV in Voltage 3895

Hello everyone. I just purchased the 3895. I have Dish network. I want all 4 TVs to be able to work off of my dish. I understand i have to watch the same thing on all TVs. I can run the cable from the dish to my box in the storage compartment. I have an adapter that supplies the audio/visual out from the box that will plug into the connection into the trailer. Unfortunately, they have it wired for only the main dining TV to work off that Antenna input. Anybody have the same issue? I'm open to any suggestions on how to make this work. Can I wire it so all the TVs will work off my satellite? It seems pointless to have 4 TVs and only be able to use one off satellite. Thanks. Jason.

It is possible.

There are several posts about wiring the satellite. Mine is wired at the cabinet to allow for all TV's to receive the Dish signal.

Thank you. I will search other related threads. Did you have to do any rewiring of the cable to make all 4 work?

Jason,

If you take off the bathroom cabinet by the four screws in the corners, you can access the wiring behind the entertainment center.

You'll find a four way splitter that probably now has the over the air antenna in and bedroom/loft/garage/outside TV's out with your main TV wired directly to the DISH box. To get a signal to all four TV's... take the TV out from the DISH box off the main TV and connect it to the antenna in on the splitter, move the over the air connection to the antenna in on the back of the DISH box, so you'll also be able to use the over the air antenna ie some TV's can watch over the air while others watch satellite. Now by connecting/disconnecting the coax cables on the splitter find & replace the loft connection with the main TV.

You'll lose the feed to the loft. You can try to split the splitter If you want to get a signal up there but it will probably have a fuzzy picture. If you need a signal to the loft, go buy the most expensive six way splitter you can find (cheap/multiple splitters = bad picture) and re-connect.

You could also try the TV out to the splitter and AV or HDMI cable to the main TV. That will keep a feed to the loft but you will not have an over the air signal to the main TV.

Here's another past discussion; you can see what solution I put in place, if that might help with ideas...
