RV Washer/Dryer combo - Experience

Good morning all,

We want to put a combo in the RV.

I know most are using the Splendide and are for the most part satisfied with them. I trust this is a good model and have all the information i need about this brand.

I have been offered two end of line models (I believe discontinued) from Haier and Pinnacle by dealer for a very reasonable 600 CAD price. Such combo units typically go for close to 2000 CAD here.

The Pinnacle 18-4000 or
The Haier HDW1600WB

I have read many stories about them on the net and obviously we mostly only hear of them when people have issues.

Anyone using Haier or Pinnacle combo without issues to their satisfaction before i pull the trigger?

Thanks for sharing advices.

S.

I sure hope you received some answers. We love our 5th wheel and are full-timers and our Grand Junction has hook ups for the all in one combo. We are looking for reactions as well!

we bought a 2100XC " vented" combo about a year ago. works very good for an RV model. just bought a voltage and it wasn't designed for a vented unit... so i started to price stackables.. only problem is, our new unit is not designed for that either. !! had to buy a 7100 combo "vent-less". don't dry near as good.

2100xc could be sold...

Thanks for the information. After reading a bit more, think we will get a vented combo. Our 5th wheel is set up with the vent in place already and during the summer, I hope to hang laundry outside! Glad to have someone who has been there!

I have the Splendide 2100.... I've tried others... the Splendid combo with vented drier works great! Also I installed it in our voltage and cut a hole for the vent no problem. If you haven't bought already I strongly recommend only buying the Splendide.

I already bough the Haier, it works well for the moment. Time will tell if it's durable. I'll keep you all posted on it.

Washes well and dries like any other condenser dryer from what i can see.

Takes about two hours to dry a load and dries better if you use the spin cycle another time before drying.

I'm using a LG that I got from Sears. So far I love it. It does a good job of washing my work clothes.

If you are happy with it that is all that matters. I had the Pinnacle and wasn't very impressed. So I'm glad you bought the Haier.

Is your LG a stackable or all in one? My spot for a washer is extremely limited!

All in one, and it gets used almost daily.
