Recliner with heat not working

I have a 3770 with the heat/massage/lights. The heat quit working on both. Everything else works. Anybody have a fix for this?

Some have had problem with the recliners failing to work due to the electrical plug pulling loose. I think the plug is under the recliner section but that's all I know.

Check for a thermal fuse or reset for the heat portion, check plugs and wires. If you have a VOM (Volt Ohm Meter) check the heating element portion for continuity, and if they are actually receiving power.

The cup holder that has the selector switches is connected to an electronic module that control all functions. Only the heat doesn't work. Dealer says its obsolete for a 2015 model. It is a 3970 and not a 3770.

'The dealer says', so much help there. As Arron suggested, get out the VOM and start checking voltages to and from the switch location.
If just the heater is out then a normal continuity check on the element is in order.

Obsolete, maybe the dealer is obsolete but electronic components and circuit boards aren't proprietary to RV dealers. Only a few manufacturers make their own stuff.

Recliner heat

I did a check out of the module and found it works. Checked the heat element and it has a open circuit. The other recliner was a loose connection and now works. I doubt if this heat element is replaceable without tearing the chair apart or if the part is available. If anyone else has this problem, it is the 2 wire white plug connection hanging out the bottom under the chair. Should have 12volts dc and I think it was 25 ohms
