Quick Release Landing Gear Pull Pins

After having one of these shear off because I didn't get it completely engaged I decided I needed a better visual confirmation that the pin was fully engaged.
Red tape is a pretty good visual.

I'd go with paint as it won't get gummy and jamb up the spring action of the pin as tape eventually will.

Great idea!!!!... Had one of my landing gear pins shear off as well... let me tell ya 16k dropping 8-10" on one side will make you check your shorts.. lol
