Peeling Pleather

I know this is an old post. I'm also having the peeling pleather furniture problem in my 2015 Aerolite. I have two questions.

1. Has anyone figured out what causes this?

2. Does anyone have any experience with RecPro furniture to be used as a potential replacement?

No experience with your brand but chances are it either not leather or "leatherette" which is just pieces of leather bound together, usually used in less expensive furniture. After 12 months not covered in any warranty.

Replacement Recliner

Hey, I have been bit by the crap fake leather bug on only ONE of my recliners. I know these are 4 connected recliners in the 2015 Voltages. Does anyone know a salvage resource center that would know where a 2015 Voltage with black leather recliners is getting parted out? Or really good seat covers OR ANY OTHER SOLUTION! We are selling this rig and it is really the only blemish!

Badly worn leather and cheap foam.

Having the same problem in the 2012 Denali I just bought. Anywhere there was pleather has been worn off both arms of the ****ty couch and all of the piping throughout the coach. The couch is also broken so it can't be a bed any longer. The cushions on the couch and U shaped dinette are **** too.

What brand have you all used for replacements?

Has anyone came across a sofa/sleeper that is remotely comfortable to sleep on? I hate to spend $1300+ for another uncomfortable sofa bed.

I used a 2" thick memory foam topper (Wally World) on top of that miserable mattress. Turned out pretty good and topper stores under the bed when not in use. Also used a memory foam mattress cover with it to hold the topper in place.

Only way I found to make that thing habitable.

2012 Voltage 3905. Same issues with flaking. I bought zipper pillow cases off Amazon and covered my leather pillows with yummy, super soft, crushed velvet in a complimentary color. I found some rolls of leather like material with adhesive backing to cover the outsides and arms of the couch. Nothing I can really do to the piping along the seams. Frustrating!
