under inflated, at least they were according to
the 80 psi cold recomendation on the tire??
Just curious what you are running ( PSI )
in your tires since we both have the same rig?
The tires that came with it were load range "E", 80psi and nitrogen filled. I did have to add air in colder weather and adjust again when it got warmer. My new load range "G" tires I run at 88-90 psi, They are rated for 105 psi max load but are rock solid at 88 and run cool. I'm not sold on the nitrogen fill since I still had to adjust for seasonal temperature changes using regular air.

Thanks for that info. on the tires.

I was ready to leave on a trip this morning and the truck is telling me that there is no trailer connected. Truck is a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 with the OEM 5th wheel prep. It's always worked perfect until now. I haven't connected the Dutchman to the truck in 6 months so I thing (?) I may
have oxidation or some other connector problem?
Always something!!

I have a 2012 GM which the body to tow package plug was VERY corroded inside the plug. I had to bypass 3 of the wires inside that plug to get it working. It never fails that when you are in a rush everything goes wrong.

I discovered that the OEM 7 blade connector in the bed of the Dodge is dead.
This is the only one I've used since buying the truck and 5th wheel to become
full time RVers. I didn't realize, until I took a harder look, that there is a identical
7 blade connector on the rear bumper and that one is still working. Haven't
I haven't crawled under the truck yet but I think when I do I'll find a set of
wires that are jumpered from the bumper connector up to the bed of the
truck and I expect to find a broken wire(s) I'll probably check that out
tomarrow.
