Outside Refrigerator

My outside refrigerator is only 110V, I have a xantex 2000 watt inverter I was thinking of connecting to batteries and running wire to power panel to outside refrigerator breaker, this will power the refrigerator at all times, on shore power, genset and driving down the interstate the batteries will be getting power, the only time the refrigerator would be on pure battery power is when disconnected from truck, no shore or genset power. Has anyone else done this?
