Hello,
Bought a 17 3305 two weeks ago from Besrt rv in turlok. Love the trailer and have spent a couple nights in it on the side of the house. Noticed when we picked it up there was 130hrs on the gen meter. Every voltage we looked at was the same with 100+ hrs on the meter. Now after having it plugged in at home, I'm up to 510hrs. Pulled the panel and there is a 12v wire on the meter that is always hot when on shore/gen power. Anyone know how it's suppose to be wired? Can someone post a picture of theres?
Thats odd ... my genset had 39 hrs on it..when I bought it... that wire should not be hot

I think someone else on the board had that issue. Something is wired incorrectly. (Imagine that!) I don't recall what exactly it was, but seem to think it was a couple of leads had been reversed. The hour meter should only run when the generator is running.

The remote start and hour meter are generator prepped by the trailer manufacturer and connect to the generator through a wiring harness and pin plug...
You need to get that back to the dealer to be rewired and install a new hour meter @ zero hours so it does not affect the resale value of you trailer down the road.
