Oil for leveling system

My leveling system has a small leak around the pump and came new with very little oil (about 4" in reservoir when jacks are down). What type of oil does the system take? Standard hydraulic oil?

Anyone else experience a pump leak? It doesn't seem to be too bad but there is still oil present.

Others may have better info, but I planned on following this .

From page 15 of this manual, it looks to be ATF...

I recall reading about using motorcycle fork oil but I don't remember the weight.

Hope the link works.

Just FYI, with the jacks extended, there won't be a whole lot of oil in the reservoir.

Check the level with the trailer hooked up and all the jacks up. The reservoir should be no more than about 3/4 full. Use Dextron ATF to top off.

Even though the oil in the system isn't dyed and doesn't smell like ATF?

That's what the dealer used when they replaced a jack and my brother in law uses Dextron in his car lift.
