You are correct. The LMS bypasses cut outs when on 50A shore power. I've talked to Danny extensively from Precision Circuits (They make the LMS)to understand how it works. Actually sent it to them when I swapped my 5500 gas generator for a 7500 diesel and they reflashed it so the cutout was no longer 44A and now it is 67A. I power everything at once now. Another option that helps is installing Easy Start from MicroAir on each AC. They are not cheap, but they dramatically drop startup amperage on the AC units
