looking to buy a Voltage 3200V

Hello all. I've been reading through some of the threads both negative and positive about the Voltage 3200. My wife and I are considering a purchase of this unit but now have our doubts. Looks as if we'll have to do a very close inspection ourselves.

This would be our first 5th wheel ever... not first rv. We've had many motorhomes but want less headaches... not more. I would appreciate any additional comments. Also I will be towing it with a Dodge 3500 SRW diesel 6.7 4x4 will that work?

Thanks in advance.

Well, even though I've only owned less than a year... there's a chance I'll be putting mine up fir sale at the end of March or early April, as I'm interested in maybe up in size.

I've already got all of the kinks worked out mine, and everything works as advertised. If you're interested, send me a note and we can talk.

We purchased a slightly used 3200V about 6 months ago and absolutely love it. The previous owner used it only 4 times. The generator had less than 30 hours. In other words, he used it enough to have all the bugs worked out. The only issue I needed to correct was the a/c through the puck vents. A little duct tape did the job. We pull with a Dodge RAM 2500 diesel. Does a great job.

We love our 3200. It has fit our needs over year+ we have owned it.

We will also be looking to up-size in the near future. Sounds like you may have a few options if you choose to look at pre-owned 3200's.

Yep.. it's a great rig for 3-to-10 day trips... but if I'm going to keep doing these 3 & 4 month runs, then I'm going to want the larger floor plan with a full-size shower & a larger garage so I can carry 2 of my bikes.

I'm currently in the Phoenix area, on week 11 of my 4-month 'winter vacation'. Couldn't ask for better weather: clear skies, mid 70s, no humidity. Luvin' life!!

Thanks for the replies. We went ahead a bought the 3200v today. I hope we have good luck with it. I did see a few things that need to be addressed right off. You guys may want to check yours as well. The screws in the slide one head was broken off, several others not flush on not screwed all the way in. I read some stuff during my research that led me to look at this area. So the complaint was valid. We noticed a few minor infractions on the inside.

Too cold outside to inspect all I wanted to but we're not it picking up until Friday at which time I'll give it the white glove. Is there anything you guys can add that I may need to look for in addition to my findings?

Btw atcguy looks good.... with that truck you can pretty much pull whatever you choose!

Thanks

Well, thought I would go ahead and add a signature...its official. Went over some stuff with the dealer today addressing the broken screws on slide and a few other interior minor issues. So far pleased with the dealer here in Nashville "Cullum and Maxey". I'll add a picture once I get it hooked up. Looking forward to shareing experiences.
