Question Key pad failure

My keyless entry key pad has stopped working. How do I reset it or trouble shoot it.

Replacing the batteries would probably be a good start...

Our remote pad has 2 real small screws on the bottom, the kind which require eye glass screw drivers. I think it is a 2032 battery. Deop battery holder, look at bat before buying. Mine also had water in it.

Does the switch have its own battery source? My RV battery’s are new and good. Thanks I’ll pull it and see what I find.

The keypad has its own battery (2032 disc-type, as others have said)... and the door latch has it's own batteries (4 AA's).

All of this info is available in your owners manual, and online: https://www.rvlock.com/collections/f...ravel-trailers

I was sure it was in the manual. Unfortunately I purchase from a dipstick tha not only didn’t use the RV, good for me, but lost manuals, keys and anything else that wasn’t attached. Thanks for the info.

Also check for dirty or loose contacts on the bottom of the door, mine had an adjustment and one of the two contacts had worked itself out of the contact at the door sill once I adjusted it to again make contact it worked again.
