Alot depends on the rest of the system and what your needs are. You going solar? Magnum is the top of the line in my opinion, that's what I have, MSH3012 Hybrid.

True. And batteries too. Inverter is only as good as your batteries, and batteries are only as good as your panels and charge controllers. It’s a balance. Xantrex PSW2000 works for me w/800W of panels.
I'm using the Magnum MSH3012. I started having some issues with it turning on and off by itself a few months after I installed it. I called their tech support line and spoke with a knowledgeable rep. We went through all of the troubleshooting steps and they determined that the problem was within the inverter.
It was under warranty so they offered to ship me a new one and a prepaid return label to ship the old one back. I gave them a CC number for security so that they could send the new one out ahead of receiving the defective one back. As long as I returned the old one within 30 days (which I did) there was no charge put on my card.
I have not had any issues with the replacement. This was a first-class support and warranty experience which made me happy that I chose a Magnum.
By the way, the Hybrid series is awesome. You can be on a low-amp supply like a regular extension cord and still be able to start and run your 15K AC unit. You just set your amp limit for the shore line and the inverter will make up the difference.

Nice to know Magnum stands behind their products.
