I finally did it. And lost a window🤦*♂️

How many of us have forgotten to close all the windows before getting on the highway?
I usually catch it before we leave. This time, nothing looked open - from the outside - before we left, but that red lever on the bedroom ‘emergency’ window must not have been in all the way. When we got to camp, the ENTIRE WINDOW WAS MISSING.

Ever done that? Where did you get a replacement?🤔

Question... did you just lose the glass, or the entire frame & glass?

If the frame is still there... you can remove it, and find the part number on a tag along the inner channel track.

As for the part... you should be able to get it from Trekwood Parts.

Here's an entire thread about the subject. I had to replace mine a few years back.

I had one break while traveling down the road last year, found a complete window with frame on Ebay for quite abit less than what a dealer wanted...just my 2 cents worth

tie wrap on emergency window latch

I found the emergency window latch lever slips out to easily, so I added a tie wrap to make it stay in, unless you really push.

I lost my window also.

Sounds like the same exact thing I did.
When I ordered the new window it came as a complete window.
Fortunately I was able to just take the window out of the new frame and slide it in the old frame. I did put a small screw in the channel to keep it from sliding out.
I figured if I have to use it as an emergency exit, I can just push it open. Good luck.

Another thread in this forum by me - emergency latch popped loose and we came very very close to losing the glass and frame.

I know it popped open on its own because we never open that window.
