We will close on our new Voltage 3905 on Thursday...woohoo!
Still have not had any power to it, so not sure how good the TV (4) are. We will not sign on the dotted line until we've put all electrical items thru their paces, so hope to do that today and I'll get a better idea how good the installed TVs are.
Since we will be FT'ing soon, we have two Sony TV's (1-46" and 1-32") that have incredible 1080P pictures. I'd like to consider swapping these for the factory models, but wonder how they will stand up to the vibration? If vibration is an issue, we could lay them on the bed during travel and put them only up when we are in place. Has anyone else done this? How safe? I just can't imagine the installed TVs will come close to the picture of the Sony's, so I'd like to keep this option on the table. Any comments?
Dutchman nor your dealership makes the installed TVs. I have a Samsung, a Sony and two Haier. All of these perform perfectly as if they were sitting in the house.
It's very doubtful if the dealership will spend too much time messing with the TVs. Most of them will point them out to you and leave it up to you to figure the coax wiring and do the field testing.
It's all the same TV, not to my knowledge is there an RV specific TV. It's all the same technology and component structure. I can tell the difference between satellite digital TV and OTA HD TV on the Samsung in the livingroom. However, it's not a deal breaker.
Just strap them down when you're on the road and you should be just fine.
