I have a 3990, but it is mounted to the ceiling in the basement on the passenger side in the back rear corner. Hope it helps.

Are you talking about the brain for the LCI touchscreen controller? Mine is on the back wall of the generator compartment, passenger side. I have a 3950.

Given Dutchmen's penchant for putting things where they please... I would simply keep looking in all of the usual places as well as some others. They continuously don't assemble things in a consistent manner.

BTW, you are looking for an exposed circuit board (should be mounted in a tray type mount, not a fully enclosed "black box" type mount) with a single wire (antenna) hanging down.

Yeah I know what im looking for, it just dumbfounds the hell out of me as its not in the usual places. No generator area just one slide controler in there, no basement area, including behind the removable walls.

Maybe all 2016 models are supposed to have them, but there's quite a few of us who do not have remotes (touchscreen or otherwise) for our rigs... and as such, no multifunction control boards.

To the left of the generator housing, on the rear wall.
It's there, wired to the slides but no transmitter came with it like a lot of them didn't come with.
It even has extra places for doing lights and/or awnings or whatever.

I was told we all have these control boards as your slide controlers via the wire loom eventually connect to it. It also provides the protection point and its also where your fuses are located for the slides, awnings, etc. It's just a matter of what controler you have. Some are wireless and some are not.
Was also told if you have the wireless controller for your leveler, then you should have wireless on the multifunction controler as well.
Although mine came with the wireless controller for my leveling system. I had to purchase my remote after the fact.

Maybe this will help. I have two wired slide controllers (in the basement) and the wireless control board in the generator shack.
We know that the same year and model of unit may or may not be alike. It depends on what comes down the line and which blind installer is in the barrel that day.
Do you have the transmitter for your missing receiver?

I have a slide controler In the generator area and the other on driver side basement ceiling. And yes, I have the LCD remote that works the leveling system and shows the exterior lights and awnings. But I also know that I need to "program it" like I had to for the leveling. But I need to get to that multifunction controler to do so.

Dunno what to tell you since you've looked at all the obvious places and you know for sure you have the wireless controller.
My guess would be to look in the under belly of all places. It might even be in a bedside cabinet or, or, or,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
If you could find and follow the heavier wires used for the slides you might be able to track it down.
