Grey Water Tank Location on V3605

So, I've had my 3605 since Apr 2015, am full time living in it right now on the road the last couple of month on the road working. The black water cable broke off in my hand 2 months ago and the grew water one did tonight trying to empty out my tank. Does anyone know where the valve is located under the belly of the trailer without having to take down a lot of the covering? I can't find any schematic that would show where it is located. Left side, right side, middle of the trailer etc. I know the black was on the left side facing from the front. Is anyone else having issues with these cheap cables? The black broke within maybe 20 times pulling to empty, and well the grey lasted a bit longer but not much. Any help on the location would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Those cables seem to be a common problem, way too long and installers coiled excess up possibly kinking them, the best fix is to go with electric 12v valves. Mine are still working ok but could go anytime. You have 2 black and 2 gray tanks, assume you are referring to the main bath grey tank. I had some of the covering down last summer replacing some hydraulic lines but don't remember where that grey tank valve is but pretty sure the tank is directly beneath the main bath. If you replaced the black tank cable then open up the covering a little there again and shine a light in maybe you can see it.

Yes am referring to the main grey water tank, just wasn't wanting to tear half all the underbelly off to find it. I don't use the back bath in the garage area so those aren't an issue.

Understand that! Not much fun opening that up....your other grey tank is the kitchen sink, and the rear bath sink drains to the kitchen grey tank (on mine anyway, some may be different).

My Black tank pull broke while on a trip to Maine. Here is the thread on that: http://www.dutchmenowners.org/forums...able-3126.html if I remember right, the grey tank valve is on the passenger side just forward of the entry door. I ended up taking my coraplastic down and cleaned up some of the mess under there. If you end up cutting, just be sure the flap opens to the rear so air doesn't pull it open.

So I ended up just going under and pulling some of the underbelly off. I would have run the plumbing or tanks a little bit different that's for sure. Black tank comes all the way across the trailer to drain and the grey ties in to the black. I think I may look at the electric valves or even a manual valve set for both.

Go electric! Well worth it and very easy to install!

Not sure what all information you are looking for but I went with the Valterra units. Install was really quite easy. There is another gent on here that documented his install quite well and I went by his as a guide and was surprised how easy it went. Will be doing the other two tanks this spring.

Replaced both the Gray and black water valves in our 2015 V3605 with Valterra electrics. Pirate did a great 'how to' here earlier complete with pictures. Search for ' electric valves' and you should find the Post. Bought the valves from Amazon and fittings from local RV dealer in Phoenix while we were there.
