Gas Leak in Toy Hauler from Fuel Station

New to site haven't been able to get my post out there:
I have two 20 gallon fuel tanks for my toy hauler. About two feet away there is a black box with a black hose, gas is dripping out of that hose. I'm in Phoenix very hot. In middle of hot afternoon it drips at night and in the morning it does not drip when it is cooler. It seems to be designed to do that. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much donzinger. Its seem strange that they would put flammable fuel into the street.

Only happened when I topped it off. Which I did often when dry camping. I have since switched to a diesel genny

Those canister get damaged from overfilling the tank. Does it on autos as well. When the nozzle clicks off folks try to get that other ounce in the tank or round up the amount and when doing so allows the extra to go into the canister.
It's not dripping because of some sort of safety process or design, it's dripping because it's damaged.
You can disconnect it as donzinger mentioned, EPA won't notice.

Thanks sundancer 87 and donzinger,
It must be defective. I bought this new and do very little dry camping. The tanks have never been totally full. They are both 20 gallon tanks, one now is 1/2 full the other is about 1/4 full.
