furrion fireplace quit working

I had electrical issues on my two year old Voltage 3605. Just had to replace my two year old (10 time usage) WFCO 100 amp power converter. Never had trouble with Furrion fireplace before now it's dead, I dont get anything not even a light. I checked breaker all good. Remote and/or manual start does nothing.

The converter wouldn't have anything to do with the fireplace since it works on 110 volts. Perhaps the plug got pulled out of the receptacle.

I was thinking the same thing, do I need to remove the trim around the perimeter to get the fireplace out of the hole?

I couldn't say because I don't have the Furrion fireplace. I do know I have to remove most of the faux rock from around mine to get it out.

the TRIM LIFTS UP, not out until you clear the clips holding it on (about an inch and a half). Then take out the screws then the fireplace will be able to be removed.

Some of them have a reset button on the back of the unit, near where the power cord enters the case.

Mine went out after about a year. I called the manufacturer (greystone) and they sent me a replacement controller board. Conversations with them made me think it is a common problem (defect). I bet if you pursue it with them they will send you a board.

Basically the control board, fan and heat strip and the flame control motor make up the unit. All parts are online somewhere.

From the Furrion manual.....Once you have checked the inlets and outlets and made any adjustments, you can unplug the fireplace for 15-20 minutes to reset the circuit board. Our tech at Furrion mentioned sometimes simply shutting off the fireplace does not allow it to cool down properly.

3605 fire place

I have the same 3605 fireplace and I have yet to figure out how to get it out. Mine is flush mounted and really has no trim around the unit. I'm thinking I will have to pry off the board above to get to it, don't want to break it. Mine keeps throwing the 88 code and puts down. This happens off and on and drives me nuts. Let me know how you get it out. Thanks

Before you start tearing things apart use a strong vacuum and clean the intake and discharge vents. This is important especially if you have an animal in the RV.

With the vents partially blocked the heater overheats because it can't move the air like it should. Suck 'em out first and see what happens.

will try that, but seems more like a loose connection. After going down the road sometimes it starts working, then next road trip it will not, and so on... Has done this from brand new! Took it in under warranty and of course it worked by time I got there and they wouldn't do anything ab out it! The Typical story... Would really like to know how to get kit out!
