Flexarmor

Anybody have this spray on roof ? I am thinking of getting it installed. I caught a low hanging tree limb and put a couple tears in my EPDM . Easy enough to patch but I would rather not worry about it. Insurance will cover it.
Thanks,
SR

Yes I do ... take to camping world for estimate on rubber membrane roof first..flex armor roof is cheaper by about 2k in my case... (less labor and material cost)

The place where I am going to have the spray on roof said that the color is silver. They can paint with a special chemical over top to make it white but is extra. I may just have them paint around the edges.

Yes this was gray as well but included white top coat... it was only "extra" if it was any color other than white... (tan's and brown's) are extra to color match.

We noticed your AC covers. Are those everyday or for storage? Is the white top coat a paint or part of the process? It looks real good.
Thanks

My units AC units are black on this model... the white is a flexible rubberized top coat that is supposed to resist discoloration and mildew growth.

I've noticed on my unit that slide roof membrane is much thicker than main roof so the need is probably not as important.. plus this coating is 3/8-1/2" thick and would compromise the slide fit and operation by increasing the slide dimensions.

We am dropping our Voltage off on Saturday to get the Flexarmor installed. We have to take it to Mesa Az. then go back and get it, but feel it will be worth it once it is done.

Well, we will be picking up our Voltage on Monday with the new Flexarmor roof. Can't wait to see it. Perfect timing spring is here.
They said that the roof sheathing under the EPDM was in excellent condition.
The low hanging tree also did some awning damage and insurance replaced both awnings. So new roof and new awnings to start the season, Exciting !

Thinking slide toppers would preclude the need for Flex Armor on the slides. No doubt if and when it's roof time, that is the way to go. Any idea on how much that roof weighs?
