Took the coach into a local repair shop to have a slide motor replaced, two wires from the motor had mysteriously been cut. While there, I had them go ahead and service the axles and of course they found issues. Coach probably has 4000 miles on it and they found a blown axle seal which threw grease over the brakes. Most of the bearings were already shot with the races being pitted and the rollers were wearing excessively. The brakes on 1 of the axles was way out of adjustment too. Just a little FYI for you guys.
It's odd that one brake is any more out of adjustment than the rest. Brake adjustment sealed the deal for the conversion. It was getting a little old having to adjust the brakes every 25-3000 miles.
Our trips generally run over 10K,so I adjust the brakes before we leave and 2 to 4 times while we're on the road. Genuine PIA, not to mention the time it takes.
Like I'm short of time being retired and all (sorry Aaron) but there are alot of other things I would rather be doing than crawling around under the camper.
