Finished Next Step in Reconfiguring Living Space

Tonight I finished the next phase in reconfiguring the main living space in our Voltage 3200. 2 Years ago I got rid of the large poofy 4 unit recliner set that took up the entire slideout space and replaced it with a pair of Euro recliners. With just the wife and I, it's all we needed. The next step was to get rid of the wobbly 2 legged table. I can't figure out why anyone would want a table with 2 legs. I took the table and sliced off one end and removed the sliding piece that was mounted on the bottom. The table is now 42" long. I added a pair of adjustable folding legs to the one end and half of an aluminum "lift-off" mounting bracket to the other end. The other half of the mounting bracket was mounted to the slideout wall. It is 26" up from the floor to the table top. Perfect for the height of the Euro recliners. The table can be removed and stored during transport. In addition to functioning as a dinner table for us, it also makes a nice end table for snacks and drinks while watching TV.

Here is the finished product.

Below is what I actually did.

This is the underside of the modified table.

With legs folded

Close up of the leg mounting

This is the hanging bracket on the table end.

This is the wall mounted piece.

This is what I used to mount the wall piece. There are no framing studs or solid structure in the slide wall.

Looks nice!

I removed my 4-place sofa too. Tried a pair of TV chairs, but since it's just me... that was still more than I needed.

Opted instead for a single recliner, and storage. A 2-drawer file cabinet for bank statements, billing statements, recipes, etc... and a 4-drawer cabinet for various other stuff. Works quite well.

Exactly what I am getting ready to do in my V3200. Glad you posted the pics. Where can I purchase the recliners? Thanks

I would head to the nearest La-Z-boy store. Take a list of dimensions on what will fit. Look for the units with the removable backs, makes them a lot easier to get through the door. RV specific furniture is not particularly well made and is expensive for what you get.

If you are referring to the Euro recliners I have in the OP, I ordered them through Camping World. I forget the price, but they were not cheap. They also wanted to charge me a huge shipping cost for each one. When I complained, they dropped one of the shipping cost and shipped both for the price of one.

Saw these recliners at CW a few months ago. At the time they were $389.
