Fair thee well

The Voltage was dropped of to the new owners yesterday and all went well. That being said, I will not be spending time on the Dutchmen Owners Forum any longer but will keep an active account as there are allot of smart and helpful people on here and I will apply my lessons learned from here to our new-to-us 5th wheel. I hope I was able to help others out along the way as well.

Happy Camping!

A good solid 2005 Cardinal. Really wanted something to be able to legally tandem tow my boat behind and we really like the layout and the price (but I will really miss my auto-leveling!). Thanks to you, Rusty for all your help and input these past 7+ years!

For the record, I sold my beautiful full paint 3990 3 years ago (never have seen a prettier unit, New Horizon, Luxe, Elite Suites included). Still hit this forum as well as the Forest River forum (I have a Riverstone Legacy 38MB now) due to some pretty smart posters here. Always learning. Take care.

We had to get rid of our Dutchmen this past January. We purchased a grand design solitude S. We have stayed on this website because I value the knowledge concerning camping and the RV systems themselves. I wish you great luck in your new adventures and I am grateful for you sharing your knowledge with us.

Thanks! I looked really hard at the Grand Designs. Great rigs. I just didn’t want the payment given today’s financial/political climate. When we do decide on the next one, GD is definitely going to be looked at. I will stay on the forum as well for the same reason.

We chose the GD because of it’s affinity for full timing. It came equipped with three AC’s, tank heaters and all the “stuff” we would need for full timing in addition to the auto leveling systems. Also, seems to be built well.
